VCRs

A video casette recorder, in nearly all respects similar to those used domestically. Users have the capacity to fast forward, freeze frame or work only with standard video signal (VHS or S-VHS). They can delay or slow down the rate at which they record, and can frequently be programmed to work either in real time, timelapse or event recording (only upon a given trigger), or indeed with a combination of these 3 types. Other important specification features are the cassette type to be recorded onto and the maximum recording time.
